In response to a recent home renovation by Maryann Thompson Associates, we designed a garden to complement house’s style. To address privacy and thinking seasonally, we incorporated over 40 trees, including evergreens and deciduous white birches, in order to create a soft boundary. Ornamental trees like paperbark maples adorned the front, while quaking aspen provided privacy on the side. Coral-bark maples and Japanese maples added vibrant hues, contrasting with evergreen holly. The garden promises to evolve into a tranquil oasis as it matures, with a variety of ground cover and shade-loving plants lining the side path.
